Recognizing the increasing importance of regulatory science in the development of new medicinal products and policy making, School of Pharmacy, National Taiwan University initiated the “Platform for Research and Inspiration in Regulatory Science”. Our mission includes developing and promoting regulatory-science-oriented innovative research, designing and establishing science-based, multidisciplinary regulatory science academic degree and non-degree programs, providing consultation service to the industry and academia, facilitating national and international academic exchange and cooperation. It is anticipated that the research findings and consensus opinions generated from the Platform would provide scientific evidence to aid policy making and the development of new medicinal products. Moreover, graduates from the academic programs are expected to meet the needs of the government, industry, and academia and to exert a positive influence. It is hoped that through the platform, the advancement in regulatory science will ultimately lead to flourished development of new medicinal products.
